HELLER SISTERS COMPETE IN FINALS SATURDAY IN TAIWAN

Shannon and Elaine Heller of Alma Center are competing in women's barefoot waterskiing at The World Games of 2009 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan thru this Saturday. The games feature sports that are not contested in the Olympic Games. Earlier this week in the Slalom competition Elaine took first place while Shannon finished fourth. Both qualified for a spot in the finals on Saturday. Yesterday, Elaine took first in both tricks and jumps to advance to the finals in both while Shannon took 4th in tricks and 6th in jumps. Shannon did qualify for the finals in tricks. Thanks to Blake Heller for the update from Taiwan.
