6TH SWINE FLU DEATH CLOSE TO HOME

A Portage County resident died Saturday from complications of H1N1 influenza.
No other details about the victim are bing released because of privacy rules.
The person was an adult, had underlying medical conditions.
As of July 16, there were seven confirmed and four probable cases in Wood County, and 149 confirmed and 11 probable in Marathon County, according to the state Department of Public Health's swine flu Web site.
The deceased is the sixth person to die from complications arising from the virus.
