STIMULUS FUNDING FOR STH 73

Gov. Jim Doyle has signed a $1.3-million contract to improve STH 73 from the Clark/Wood County line to STH 13, in Wood County.
The project was advanced using funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
American Asphalt of Mosinee is the prime contractor of the project. Crews will repave WIS 73 with new asphalt.
Construction on the project is scheduled to begin Thursday, and be complete by September 2009.
During construction, WIS 73 will remain open to traffic. Crews will use flagging operations to guide traffic through the construction zone
