NORTHWOODS LEAGUE ALL-STAR GAME TONIGHT

The 2009 Northwoods League All-Star Game will be held this evening in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, home of the Thunder Bay Border Cats. The Battle Creek Bombers and Rochester Honkers lead the way with seven all-stars per team. The North Division First-Half Champion Mankato MoonDogs placed six all-stars while the South Division Champion Eau Claire Express landed two all-stars including outfielder, Nolan Fadness and pitcher Rudy Jaramillo. Since The Express won the first half of the South Division, Eau Claire manager Dale Varsho will manage the South and coach Nate Schwartz will also be on his staff as well.
