CHAPARRAL WEEKEND WRAP

The Marshfield Chaparrals were on the road this weekend and came away with a win over Coon Valley on Friday and two losses to the LaCrosse A's on Saturday. In Friday's game Howie Heinrich picked up the win going 7 innings and striking out 8, he was also 2-4 from the plate with a double and an RBI. On Saturday the Chaps played two 7 inning games at V-Hawk Stadium in LaCrosse. In game one vs. the A's, Marshfield was shut out 2-0, Eric Pritzl took the loss going 6 innings. In game two the Chaparrals lost 8-4, scoring all their runs in the 6th inning. Kyle Schicker took the loss. Sam Schwanebeck hit a 2 run homer in the loss. Marshfield is now 11-6 on the season.
