EXPRESS DOWN THE BUCKS

The Eau Claire Express got exactly what they needed last night to bust out of their slump. They exploded for eleven runs and dominated the Waterloo Bucks 11-1. The Express scored early and often and they also received solid pitching as they put together probably their most solid game of the second half so far. Matt Klein (NE JC) had made two previous relief appearances for the Express since arriving last Friday, but last night was his first start of the season. He was very solid as he went seven innings and allowed only one run on the night. Seven Express starters had at least one hit and six of them finished with multi-hit games. Jon Ringenberg (Baylor) will take start for the Express tonight they go for the series sweep of Waterloo.
