ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER HOUSE FIRE

For the 2nd day in a row, a fire in the Marshfield area has destroyed a home.

According to the Wood County Sheriff’s Department, the home was located on Mill Creek Dr. in the Town of Lincoln.

Someone at the residence called 9-1-1 just after noon Wednesday. The home is owned by the Thomas and Debra Suchomel family. Thomas is the Fire Chief in the Town of Lincoln.

Fire Departments from the towns of Lincoln, Rock, Cameron and Chili-Fremont responded along with the Wood County Sheriff’s Department.

The fire remains under investigation.

The family was assisted by the American Red Cross.

On Tuesday, a home south of Marshfield on Klondike Avenue was destroyed by fire.
