FIELDER TO COMPETE IN HOME RUN DERBY

Milwaukee Brewer first baseman Prince Fielder will participate for the National League in the All-Star home run derby next Monday night in St. Louis. Fielder will join former champion Ryan Howard, Albert Pujols and Adrian Gonzalez in the contest. All four are the National League's first basemen for the All-Star game July 14th. Pujols leads the majors in home runs with 31, Fielder currently has 22. The American League will announce their participants later.
