Six of the two dozen sicknesses linked to E. Coli tainted beef are in Wisconsin.

12 of the 23 have been hospitalized, two with kidney failure.

Wisconsin and Michigan seem to be the states hardest hit by the outbreak.

Other cases were reported in California, Maine, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico and New York.

JBS Swift Beef Co. of Greeley, Colorado has recalled more than 400,000 pounds of beef.
