Posted by Riley Hebert-News Director

Black River Falls School District residents are heading to the polls Tuesday for a spending referendum.

If approved, the district could spend 25-million dollars to build a new elementary school which would house students in grades one through five.

The district would also build an addition to the Forrest Street Early Learning Center building. It currently houses their Early Childhood, 4-k and 5-k programs.

The district is facing increased elementary enrollments.

If approved, taxes on a 100-thousand dollar home will increase about $100.
