A Neillsville senior prank got a bit out of hand as five graduates vandalized the school building.

According to Neillsville police reports, the five teenage males obtained master keys and entered the school building late Sunday or early Monday morning.

They did a lot of damage.

They sabotaged the computer network, took components of the computer systems, including memory cards.

They entered numerous classrooms, removing over 200 heavy tables, desks and chairs and writing obscenities on black boards.

School administration requested the police department not pursue criminal charges against the five, who eventually admitted their involvement.

They will have to pay restitution for wages and benefits paid by the district to fix the damage. The total bill is expected to be over $700.
