State officials say the number of confirmed and probable cases of swine flu in Wisconsin has grown to 105, up from 66 a day earlier.

The Department of Health Services said there still have been only 3 of the cases confirmed by federal health officials, two in Milwaukee County and one in Adams County, while 102 others are considered probable.

The agency said 50 of the probable cases are in Milwaukee County.

Milwaukee city officials have closed 22 schools and one child care facility because of concerns about the spread of the flu.

Added to the list Monday was Alexander Hamilton High School, the largest high school in Milwaukee Public Schools with an enrollment of 1,995.
