ANOTHER COUGAR SIGHTING

The DNR is looking into another reputable cougar sighting in the area.
This one was just northwest of Greenwood in the Town of Worner.
An Eagle River man, turkey hunting with a Neillsville man, saw the big cat chasing some deer Thursday morning.
Wildlife officials have traditionally downplayed cougar sightings, but that’s changing.
The DNR confirmed a cougar in southern Wisconsin just last year; another cougar was “treed” in northern Wisconsin this winter.
