MAIL SCAM IN CLARK CO.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a fraudulent Secret Shopper Scam being conducted via mail in our area.
In this rip-off, citizens are contacted by mail and notified that they have been selected for a position to become “Customer Service Evaluation” representatives of Secret Shopper Inc., of Seattle.
Recipients are instructed to complete a “training assignment” within 48 hours. The instructions state that Wal-Mart, Lowes, and Money Gram are the target stores where customer service evaluation is needed.
The victim is directed to spend money at the stores, then send funds via money gram to a person in Canada.
Authorities say this is a scam and should be reported to your local law enforcement agency.
