"BADGER 5" WINNER COMES FORWARD

Karen Klein, who works as a cook at Neillsville schools, went to Eau Claire to claim her $13,000 prize this week.
Actually, after taxes, the prize was around $8,000 - still nothing to sneeze at.
"It was unbelievable." Klein says, explaining a Friday morning computer session when she realized she had won. "There aren't words to describe how I felt. Just really happy."
As you might imagine, friends are now coming out of the woodwork. Family is guilty as well.
"Yes they are," Klein laughed. "My son Paul said 'I'll probably be getting a really nice birthday present this year."
But alas, the prize money will first go to bills and possibly a trip.
Klein says she'll keep playing "Badger 5". The odds of winning are 1 in 170,000.
