DOT PUSHES BACK STH 13 PROJECT

Another delay for the reconstruction of STH 13 in northern Clark County.
The DOT’s original plan was to redo the road between Abbotsford and Colby this summer, but the DOT has changed its mind several times.
That stretch got an emergency “band-aid” last year.
The DOT’s latest plan was to reconstruct the road in 2012, but they’ve now decided to wait until 2015.
Drivers have complained of cracks, dips and valleys near the STH 29 overpass and near the Colby High School.
