WINNING LOTTO TICKET SOLD IN NEILLSVILLE

Posted by Riley Hebert-News Director

Some people have all the luck. Someone who bought a “Badger 5” lottery ticket at Bob and Caryl’s IGA in Neillsville won the $13,000 jackpot last night.

The winner hasn’t come forward yet, but the Wisconsin Lottery says some lucky ticket-holder matched all five winning numbers in last night’s drawing.

Kim Oldham, a bookkeeper at the store, said they were greeted with the good news when they logged into their lottery terminal this morning. She said the store sold a $250,000-winning ticket a long time ago – maybe twenty years – but this is the first big winner they’ve had since then. For selling the winning ticket, Solberg Foods earns a $260 commission from the Lottery.

The winning numbers, by the way: 11, 14, 16, 18, and 25.
