APARTMENT BUILDING BURNS

An abandoned 3-story Marshfield apartment building was destroyed by fire early Thursday morning.
According to the Marshfield NewsHerald, the Hartl House was scheduled for demolition to make way for a proposed extended stay hotel.
The fire department was dispatched at around 2 a.m. Flames were already shooting through the roof by the time they arrived.
13 firefighters fought the fire until it was extinguished at 4:45 a.m.
