Area nursing homes do well in a new rating system.
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recently revealed its new Five-Star Quality Rating System.
The system assigns a grade based on health inspection results, staffing data, and quality measures.
Memorial Medical Center’s Health & Rehabilitation facility received an overall rating of 4 out of five stars.
Specifically, Memorial received four stars for quality measures and staffing and three on health inspections.
Bethel Center in Arpin received a perfect five-star rating; the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen received three stars.
