AREA FIRMS WIN CONSTRUCTION AWARDS

A couple area road construction companies have earned top awards from the DOT.
The Excellence in Construction Awards were handed out during the 2009 Contractor-Engineer Conference in Madison Wednesday.
Lunda Construction of Black River Falls received The Excellence in Small Structures Award for its work on the US 151/County D Interchange in Fond du Lac County.
Lunda also received the Large Structures Awards for their contributions to the Marquette Interchange project and a $30-million bridge in Sturgeon Bay.
The Outstanding Commercial Service Airport Construction Award went to Trierweiler Construction & Supply Company of Marshfield, for their work making runway safety improvements at the La Crosse Municipal Airport.
