SLEEPWALKER DIES IN COLD

A Hayward-area man is dead after he apparently wandered into the cold.

Authorities believe the 51-year-old was sleepwalking early Tuesday morning.

His name is not released.

It will get colder still Thursday night. The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Warning from noon today through noon on Friday.

Temperatures will fall today to around -12 by 5pm; overnight, air temperatures will bottom out at around –24, with wind chills of around -44.
