MURDER-FOR-HIRE SUSPECTS IN COURT
Thursday, December 18th, 2008 -- 8:30 am Posted by Riley Hebert-News Director
Three people charged in an apparent murder-for-hire scheme in Stevens Point are ordered to stand trial.
A Portage County judge bound Carlos Cummings, Linda Dietze and Carla Glodowski over for trial on one count of being party to attempted homicide.
The victim, James Glodowski, testified during a preliminary hearing that Dietze lured him to Zenoff Park November 18th to show him a videotape of his wife Carla cheating on him with Cummings.
He testified Dietze shot him once in the head and twice in the shoulder with a .22 caliber handgun. Glodowski offered few other details since he is still recovering from the attack. Dietze will undergo a competency evaluation in the next month.
Her attorney raised questions about her ability to assist in her own defense.
