SIDIE BACK IN COURT

A Hatfield man accused of killing his ex-wife will be back in Jackson County Court this afternoon.
Doug Sidie is scheduled to have an initial appearance.
Investigators say he shot his ex-wife, Alisha, outside a Hatfield residence the two shared.
He says he shot her after she threatened to take their 2-year-old twin boys away and kill his 8-year-old boy from a different relationship.
He reported Alisha missing Nov. 8, saying she walked away the previous night after they argued. She was the subject of a weeklong search before he admitted the killing and told detectives where to find the body.
Sidie is currently held without bond.
