CLARK CO. BOARD RESIGNATION

The Clark County Board will be short a member.
City of Neillsville and Town of Pine Valley supervisor Doug Opelt recently submitted his resignation.
Opelt is in the middle of his second term on the board. He was first elected in April of 2006 and won reelection in April.
County Clerk Christina Jensen says board chairman will appoint someone to fill position, possibly during the December 18th meeting.
