MAN ASSAULTS MARSHFIELD WOMAN, KILLS SELF

A man authorities say raped a Marshfield woman at gunpoint before killing himself had a violent past.
Marshfield Police were called to an apartment on East 21st Street Tuesday after a neighbor reported hearing a woman screaming for help.
Police found a 25-year-old Marshfield woman tied to her bed. They believe she had been there for several hours.
A six-month-old child was also found in the apartment unharmed.
Around the same time, Chippewa County got a cryptic 911 call from a man who said his girlfriend was in an apartment tied up, alive, and the baby was okay.
They later found 36-year-old Jason Felce had shot himself in the basement of a house in Cadott where he lived with his parents.
Court records show Felce has been convicted of sexual assault with use of a dangerous weapon, armed burglary, and violating a domestic abuse restraining order.
