THINK SPRING (ELECTIONS)
Monday, December 1st, 2008 -- 11:30 am Posted by Riley Hebert-News Director
On this cold first day of December, you can think Spring… Spring Elections, that is. Today is the first day would-be candidates for the April Elections can circulate nomination papers.
Clark County Clerk Christina Jensen says there will be city, village, town and school board races in April.
There will likely be some school district referenda questions as well.
Statewide races for State Superintendent and Supreme Court will also be on the ballot. This year’s Spring Election will be April 7. Primaries, if needed, will be held on February 17th.
Nomination papers must be submitted by Tuesday, January 6th, 2009
