Three people are in custody for a shooting in Stevens Point that left a man wounded and the local high school locked down.

Police Chief Jeff Morris says a man and woman have been arrested by detectives in addition to the woman already in custody. She was arrested at a Plover residence and could make a court appearance Wednesday.

Police say a 50-year-old man was shot in the head near the Moose Family Center Tuesday. He was airlifted to St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. His condition is unknown.

Stevens Point Area High School was temporarily locked down Tuesday afternoon following the nearby shooting.
