NEILLSVILLE F.D. CALLED TO HOUSE FIRE

It was an early morning wake-up call Monday for the Neillsville Fire Department.
Fire Chief Matt Meyer says the crew was called to the scene of a possible house fire at 2:40 a.m. It was located at 10 Court Street here in town.
Fire fighters discovered smoke in the attic, apparently from some electrical wires.
Thankfully, the smoke was caught soon enough. There was only some minor damage to the rafters.
