LISTEMAN ARBORETUM COULD BE OPENED FOR HUNT

The Neillsville City Council could open the Listeman Arboretum to a limited archery-deer hunt.
This week’s Clark County Press reports the council will consider the limited hunt at their meeting next Tuesday.
The idea has already won the support of the Neillsville Parks and Recreation Board and the Listeman Foundation. City ordinances would need to be adjusted.
Residents have complained of deer damage—especially in the area around the Arboretum.
