 This is National 4-H Week.
Sarah Medick, Youth Development Agent in Clark County, says 4-H is focused on personal growth of its nearly 6-million youth members. Clark County’s 4-H is especially active.
"4-H in Clark County is comprised of 22 4-H clubs. We have 359 volunteers helping with these clubs and 711 members," Medick says.
4-H members self-govern their clubs.
"They decide what they want to do... what they want to be involved in," she notes, "They have a 4-H leader that guides them, but it's really all about the youth and what they want to get out of their organization."
