CRAZY FOR CRAISINS

People seem to be crazy about craisins, and that’s leading to another expansion for an area cranberry company.
Ocean Spray is adding 100 new jobs and is expanding its plant in Wisconsin Rapids. Now the city is home to the largest cranberry processing facility in the world. Ocean Spray says Craisins are behind the push to grow.
Craisins are sweetened dried cranberries and Ocean Spray says it needs a $75 million dollar expansion to keep up with demand.
With the expansion, the plant can produce 30 million Craisins a year.
