HIXTON MAN ACCUSED OF ABUSING BROTHER

An 18-year-old Hixton man is accused of abusing his younger brother after he allegedly shot him with an air gun and then choked him.
Glennon Sechser faces one count of physical abuse of a child by intentionally causing harm.
According to the criminal complaint, Sechser and his 11-year-old brother were playing "war games" with a group of friends at a Hixton residence.
When the boy was accidentally shot and began to cry, Glennon Sechser, told him to stop crying and called him a "baby".
When the boy responded, the elder Sechser reportedly shot him over 10 times in the back at close range and then proceeded to choke him.
If found guilty, Sechser could face up to a $10,000 fine and six years imprisonment.
