HEWETT ST. PROJECT DELAYED

A downtown Neillsville paving project has been delayed a bit.
The DOT planned to start the Hewett Street project this month, but Public Works Director Dave Flynn says it's been pushed back to September 29th.
No parking will be allowed on Neillsville's main drag during the repave, but the road should remain open to at least one lane of traffic.
Crews will mill-down and repave Hewett Street from 4th to 8th streets. They should complete their work by October 16.
