THREE BEARS FOR SALE, MAY CLOSE

A huge resort in Warrens may close by the end of September if a buyer can't be found.
Van Der Molen Recreational Properties Inc. notified village officials this week that Three Bears Resort, which employs 244, is actively seeking a buyer for the property.
The resort includes the nation's largest Jellystone Park campground.
Officials say the high price of gas is impacting travel plans.
Along with the campground, the resort includes a 93-room hotel, indoor and outdoor water parks, skatepark, and a conference center.
The business opened in 1972, and Van Der Molen — an industrial park developer from suburban Chicago — bought it in 1989.
