TWO ARRESTED FOR COCAINE POSSESSION

A 21-year-old Neillsville man and an 18-year-old woman have been arrested and charged with possessing cocaine with intent to deliver.
Dustin Mayhone and Christine Stenulson are free on $2,500 cash bond.
Court records show both were arrested last Friday after an investigation into alleged drug activity at an apartment building at 118 Clay Street and a residence near Sherwood.
Records indicate deputies attempted to pull over a vehicle driven by Mayhone, but Mayhone increased his speed.
Deputies then witnessed Mayhone throw a plastic bag out of his window before eventually pulling over. The bag was recovered and tests confirmed it contained cocaine.
Initial appearances will be held in early July.
