-The Greenwood School Board heard the Administrators’ reports at their meeting on Monday.

District Administrator Todd Felhofer stated that early budget proposals regarding public education are encouraging, but the budget process is long and complex. Early discussions are focused on helping rural school districts. Governor Walker’s has included some very positive items in his budget draft, but there is limited support for many of these ideas within his own party. He also reviewed the January 20th and February 10th in-services. Both days were productive for staff and he received positive feedback from staff on both.

He continued saying no candidates have submitted required paperwork to represent Area 2, 2nd Friday Enrollment Count was completed on January 13th and district enrollment numbers continue to be very stable, staff has addressed the required/recommended changes presented in the Food Service Audit report and finally, he gave a Technology Education Open House night recap.
