TAYLOR CO. HAS PEOPLE OF INTEREST IN HOMICIDE

Taylor County authorities say they have "multiple persons of interest" in the death of a Medford woman whose remains were found over the weekend in Sawyer County.
38-year-old Jean Viken was last seen in Taylor County in late January.
Forensic analysis indicates Viken appears to have died from multiple gunshot wounds. The case is being investigated as a homicide.
Two fishermen found her remains in a densely wooded area early Saturday morning.
The remains were taken to University Hospital in Madison for forensic analysis.
Forensic experts are also investigating several other items found at the scene.
