CLARK CO. SCHOOLS HITTING THE BOARDS

Faced with heavy advertising from the Marshfield school district, Clark County schools are finalizing an advertising effort of their own.
Neillsville administrator John Gaier says most county schools are teaming up and plan to purchase billboard space along USH 10, STH 13, STH 29 and CTH H.
While the message and design are yet to be finalized, Gaier says they want to stress the benefits of a small-school education. The hope is to retain—and possibly gain—students through open enrollment.
Gaier expects the Clark County schools' billboards to go up in the next few weeks
