LOCAL FFAers UP FOR STATE AWARDS

Some area FFA members will be honored among Wisconsin's best.
This week, the Department of Public Instruction and the Wisconsin FFA Center announced its candidates for the 'Stars Over Wisconsin' awards--which include finalists for the Star Farmer Award, Star in Ag Placement, Star in Agribusiness and Star in Agriscience.
In the running for Star Farmer this year are Aaron Naedler of Granton and Dylan Stichert of Marshfield.
Students nominated for Star in Ag Placement include Mark Franseen of Marshfield.
Each of the candidates will receive a plaque, with the top winners of each award also earning cash prizes. The finalists were selected according to the amount of money earned in their Supervised Agricultural Experience Program.
