RAPIDS DEATH INVESTIGATED AS HOMICIDE

The death of a Wisconsin Rapids man is now being investigated as a homicide.
Wisconsin Rapids Police Chief Kurt Heuer says an autopsy shows 35-year-old Dale Meister died of multiple gunshot wounds.
A friend found Meister in his mobile home near Thousand Oaks Park on the city's west side Tuesday afternoon.
The state Crime Lab and local detectives gathered evidence at the home. There are no suspects in custody.
