UPDATE: NO CONTAMINATED BEEF IN GRANTON, LOYAL

A little correction from a story we had earlier in the week. It turns out Granton and Loyal schools never had any recalled beef.
Superintendent Rick Rehm says they had some hamburger patties that were pulled aside after they received a notice about the possible recall earlier this month.
They looked into it further and determined it didn't come from the company accused of mistreating animals and using beef from so-called "downer" animals. Much of the questionable beef had been sold to schools around the country.
