LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO DO?

Have you ever wanted to serve on a state council, committee or task force? Now might be the time.
State Representatives Scott Suder (R-Abbotsford) and Terry Musser (R-Black River Falls) are urging area people to apply for the positions, which are appointed by Governor Doyle.
There are nearly two-hundred such bodies that meet at designated times throughout the year to analyze, discuss, and provide guidance on a number of issues that affect Wisconsin. Appointees are typically reimbursed for travel and expenses for meetings throughout the state.
Those interested in being considered for an appointment are encouraged to fill out an online application at the Governor's Office Website, http://www.wisgov.state.wi.us.
