100 COWS KILLED IN SPENCER BARN FIRE

A barn fire 5-miles northeast of Spencer has killed about 100 cows. The fire in the Town of Brighton began around 7:15 a.m. yesterday morning and continued to smolder last night. The fire damaged water lines from the well that supplied the residences. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, although it’s not suscpicious. No people were injured in the blaze.
