JENSEN TO PLEAD (AGAIN)?
Monday, February 4th, 2008 -- 9:40 am
Posted by Riley Hebert-News Director

A Neillsville man accused of trying to kill his ex-wife's ex-husband appears ready to accept a plea deal.

Wayne Jensen faces multiple charges, including attempted homicide, from an incident in July 2003 when a pipe bomb was detonated in a moving vehicle north of Neillsville. Two area residents were injured in the explosion.

Jensen has already served a prison term, but a judge recently ruled he breached a plea agreement, reinstating the more serious original charges.

Court records indicate a plea hearing has been set for February 18 in Clark County Circuit Court.

Jensen is currently residing in the Clark County on a $20,000 cash bond.
