FORMER D-A GETS 3 YEARS PROBATION
Thursday, December 27th, 2007 -- 11:51 am Posted by Riley Hebert-News Director
Probation—not prison—for a former Clark County prosecutor convicted on a felony drug charge.
Gene Radcliffe, now 56, served as Clark County District Attorney in the late 1970s.
He was charged with several drug charges stemming from a February raid of the Oak Street home he shared with his wife, Kelly. That search turned up evidence of a good-sized marijuana growing operation.
While he faced a maximum six years in prison after pleading “no contest” to a charge of manufacturing and delivering marijuana, he was sentenced last week to three years probation and 100 hours of community service.
