NEW FIRE STATION ON THE WAY IN MARSHFIELD

It looks like the City of Marshfield will get a second fire station.
Tuesday night, The Marshfield Common Council voted 6-4 to pursue building a second station on the city's north side. The council also wants to set criteria to establish if a third fire station is needed by 2020.
Marshfield's Fire Chief said the department's response times for emergencies are increasing.
