AREA FARMER GETS STATE HELP

An area farmer will be getting some help from the state.
Governor Jim Doyle has announced that four dairy farms and one rural business will receive $275,500 in loans from the Department of Commerce Rural Economic Development Milk Volume Production Program.
Phillip Ruzic of Greenwood will receive a $25,000 loan to modernize his dairy operation.
All Wisconsin dairy producers, both existing and start-up, are eligible to apply for the MVP Program.
