While a whooping cough outbreak seems to be under control here in Clark County, it has certainly been persistent.

The Clark County Department of Public Health reports there have been four more confirmed cases this week. All the new cases are in the Greenwood elementary school.

That brings the total to 36 confirmed cases.

Experts say good handwashing is a key to stopping the spread of diseases, such as whooping cough.
