Posted by Riley Hebert-News Director

Sunday (11/25) is expected to be the most heavily-traveled day of the Thanksgiving holiday as deer hunters join people returning from visiting family and friends. The highways are expected to be most crowded between noon and 8 p.m. on Sunday. The Wisconsin State Patrol and local law enforcement agencies will be patrolling streets and highways as part of the annual Combined Accident Reduction Effort. The effort focuses on drunk and aggressive drivers as well as seat belt enforcement and helping motorists with disabled vehicles.
