BLOOD DRIVE A SUCCESS

The American Red Cross had another successful blood drive in Neillsville Monday.

98 pints of blood were collected, enough to potentially save the lvies of 294 patients.

Of those giving, the 18 gallon plateau was reached by Gladys Gerhardt, 11 gallons by David Mohr, six gallons by Kristine Schmidt, five gallons by Bob Bell and three gallons by Douglas Zank.

First-time donors included Robert Luchterhand and Alex Eichten.

The next blood drive will be held on Monday, January 14 at the American Legion Post 73.
